No bombing, no diving, no loud music...just relax!
Set in a walled garden full of flowers and shrubs, our pool will wash away the heat of the day and become a haven in which to chill out. Laze around the pool on sun loungers or deck chairs in the beautiful garden by the pergola or the water fountain or maybe drink an aperitif before dinner or some bread and cheese for lunch-the pleasure is yours!
With a maximum of 10 guests you are assured of peace by the pool!!Things to do
Come up for a drink at the bar or prepare your own meal from the daily market. Even though our local restaurants are fantastic, sometimes its nice not to “have to” go out and eat. Stroll up and meet like minded people for a chat over a bottle of local wine or a refreshing gin & tonic. Andy & Pam will often lay on an evening soiree with a 3 course meal or a bbq.
The Auberge also displays local news and events and local artist exhibits.Accommodation
Feel free to stroll around our established 7 acre orchard boasting over 180 fruit and nut trees. There is always seasonal fruit for you to pick and enjoy from cherries in may, apricots in June, peaches, nectarines and plums July and August, followed by figs, pears, hazelnuts, walnuts and apples. Or just sit under the shade of an oak tree and read a book or gaze at the stars.....immerse yourself in the pleasures of nature.
We have a choice of bicycles for you to use free of charge. Cycle to the local villages and restaurants or take a picnic and go all day! The 'voie vert' is the old railway line converted to a walking and cycling path that goes from Montreal to Condom and passes by us at the bottom of the vineyard.....and its flat!
The most wonderful hosts
Andy and Pam were born to host guests. They are two of the most kind and inviting people we have ever met. Our stay with them was wonderful. The flat was very comfortable and well appointed; the breakfasts were delicious and extremely well catered; and the location was rural and perfectly tranquil. However, it was Andy and Pam who made our visit magical. There attention to there guests is remarkable and they went above and beyond making sure or two small children had the most fantastic Easter ever. We highly recommend Chez Brunet
